I just rented and watched the movie The Black Dahlia and I have a question?

did you get it? and if so what did I miss? this movie was very hard to understand and I was wondering if someone can brief me?

That's because this movie is a huge piece of crap. This could have been a much better movie but they botched things on so many levels.





I would google the Black Dahlia to get the history.
Reply:The theory is that her friends father, the doctor, killed her and the daughter helped. Elizabeth Short supposedly had an affair with him.
Reply:it was an unsolved crime. the killer they thought worked in the medical field because the the draining of blood the sawing of bones. they said she was a hooker, then they thought that she was a guy dressed up like a female. back then they contaminated the crime scene. they never had anything like that. to this day they have no answers. the director just wrote what he thought had happened
Reply:the whole movie is based off of what the director think happened to her, the case was never really solved. In the movie she was killed by the mother and the gimpy dude of the rich family, but as for the way they did it i don't remember I'd have to watch it again to give you a good detailed answer sorry.

Reply:You need to not see this movie for the Murder and for what was going on with the two police men. If you still have it look at the special features of the movie and it was the writers point of view. The sad thing is Elizabeth short will never get justice. James Elroy due to his mom being killed wrote this book. check out www.crimelibrary.com for the true story. Also check out his mom. The best books on the subject is Severed %26amp; the black Dahlia FBI files by the way.

i'll try my best to inform you the fastest way - the scenes directly after Josh Hartnett finds the hidden money under the floortile tells about his partner's crimes - then the scene with the family on the staircase at the unravels who killed Elisabeth Short (The Black Dahlia). watch them again for the answers - too long to really explain everything.
