They never found the killer/killers. No one knows lots and lots of theory and speculations but no real suspects. Have to remember, no DNA, homicide training compared with that of today a joke at best. It would be a good cold case to take up if all the evidence was still accessible but I imagine that most of the evidence is lost or stolen by now.
Who killed Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia??
One thing for sure is, I don't know.

Reply:Johnny Stompanato, the boyfriend of Lana Turner. Elizabeth Short was given some jewelry from a robbery, so Johnny "the Stomp" was sent to "get the ice and chill the broad" by Mickey "The C" Cohen.
