love them. they are one of my favorite death metal bands. (yes, i consider this band death metal, anyone who questions this better go look at some of their lyrics)

oh and yes it was a murder back in the day. i guess you should watch the movie cuz i don't know the details. all i heard about it was that the woman who was murdered( she called herself the black dahlia) had her mouth slit ear to ear.


i believe (i'm 100% sure) that this is were the band got there name from. in closed casket requiem, the lyrics to the chorus reference the murder ("And in my dreams i slit your mouth from ear to ear") whether they knew that they did this or not i have no idea.
