They had to cut out A LOT of stuff from the book in order to make a two hour movie. As a result, the film was very confusing and it didn't really make much sense.
The book is better...read it and the pieces will fit together.

The whole thing was confusing. We ended up turning it off and just watching tv.

Reply:Instead of making the movie about what the title says...he made it more about 2 cops who actually never worked on the case...it sucked.
Reply:it was a terrible movie and it had nothing to do with the real killing, i wish they made it more like the movie 'zodiac'.

Reply:That movie was so bad!! I had to struggle through the damn thing!! There are so many different angles to try and new ones to explore. It's the biggest unsolved murder case in Hollywood and that crap is what we got!!
Reply:if you watch the movie extras the writer of the movie added the extra story lines on purpose. i thought it ruined the movie and put the murder as an after thought
