Hollywoodland and Black Dahlia (or however its called)?

Are these good? i was thinking of taking a date to a movie and we were considering these two. Let me know your oppinions.

Hollywoodland and Black Dahlia (or however its called)?
i would see both but i would see black dahlia first, only reason i been doing my research for almost 8 yrs now. your choice.
Reply:They're both good, but flawed movies.

If you and your date are more in the mood for a visually dazzling experience, by all means choose "The Black Dahlia." The cinematography and editing are spectacular, and, as usual, DePalma supplies a few great set pieces.

If it's terrific performances that you prefer in a movie, see "Hollywoodland." Adrien Brody and Diane Lane are typically excellent, and Ben Affleck is a revelation as George Reeves.

Since you have an interest in this sort of film, either is worth your time. But I I had to choose one over the other, "Hollywoodland" gets my vote.

Enjoy the show!
Reply:Hollywoodland is way better than Black Dahlia. I'm still trying to get someone to explain to me what happened in Black Dahlia. It may have been that the director had to cut out an hour, I don't know, but nobody seems to be clear on what happened or why.

I've seen a few complaints here and there about Hollywoodland, but it had my attention for the whole time and the acting was very good.

btw- I posted a question on here about the Black Dahlia movie. If you understand the plot, please link to my question and give me a clue, ok?
